The week of August 12th in Review
As I look back on last week at Faith I am overwhelmed by how God is moving here. We are in a new season at Faith and it is a new season for my wife Christy and I as well. It requires faith to step into the unknown with God.
Whether it be Christy and I picking up and moving our house hold 2 hours away or whether it be our church family being willing to commit time and resources to outreach, infrastructure, and change. It all requires faith. It all requires trusting that God is in control. Trusting that if we are obedient and faithful all our efforts will be used for His glory as He tells us in (Romans 8:28).
We all stepped up and stepped in to the Back to School Bash and we had well over a hundred people here at faith for that event. We launch our new Kids Club children’s ministry on September 2nd.We will be stepping into our upcoming FAITH FEAST in November and our BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST WITH JESUS in December as well. We start a new fall sermon series on Erasing Hell on September 2nd as well.
All these things take faith which is something that is not lacking here. Always remember that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
